A veteran Campbell Alliance executive will head a new subsidiary focused on market research and analytics.
Michael Turner, who has served as vice president of Raleigh-based Campbell's Brand Management Practice, will be the general manager of the new group Encuity Research.
Campbell, a life science consultancy firm, was acquired by inVentiv Health last year. InVentiv later acquired two business units from SDI Health.
The new groups are being combined with Campbell's current research and anlytics group.
Encuity will be based in Pennsylvania, and Turner will be based there.
No Raleigh-based employees will be transferred to Pennsylvania, a company spokesperson said.
"The audit businesses acquired from IMS will be combined with our existing market research and analytics service lines to create a very robust business that will drive accelerated growth for us in the market research segment," said Nader Naeymi-Rad, CEO of Campbell Alliance. "In addition, Encuity Research's services will provide Campbell Alliance and our parent company, inVentiv Health, with new insights for clients that will enhance our ability to deliver powerful solutions."
