New Monthly Event for Entrepreneurs to
Practice Pitches in a Casual Setting
Raleigh, NC—December 2, 2013: Lookout Capital, a Raleigh, NC-based provider of venture capital, growth capital, and advisory services, announces a recurring monthly event for entrepreneurs. The event, titled “Pints & Pitches”, will be available for Triangle entrepreneurs to practice their pitches for raising capital in a casual environment.
Most entrepreneurs are understandably anxious about raising capital and presenting their companies to venture capital firms. They view venture capital firms, and fundraising in general, as black box. Lookout’s answer to reducing this anxiety, and creating a less formal environment for pitching, is a new monthly event to be held at Lookout Capital’s offices in Raleigh.
“Pints and Pitches” will be hosted at Lookout Capital’s offices in the Glenwood South area of downtown Raleigh. Each month, founders and executives from up to three Triangle area companies will have an hour with Lookout’s staff, investors, and close associates to discuss their respective ventures. These company representatives will have the options to do a live investment presentation, a practice pitch with feedback from Lookout, or informally discuss activities and plans.

refreshments. We encourage members from
the entrepreneurial community who are not presenting to join us for these
monthly events.
