Former iContact Exec Launches New Product, New Event in SF

Meet Connect at HIVE

We’re catching up with serial entrepreneur Ryan Allis, co-founder of Morrisville-based email marketing company iContact, which was sold to Vocus in 2012.  He’s now based in San Francisco, and has announced his next venture - an app called Connect that takes all of your social media connections and maps their location as they check-in. The app links not only to Facebook and Twitter, but also to LinkedIn, Instagram, Foursquare, Google Contacts, and your iPhone.

The app is currently in beta on iPhone and web platforms and will launch on the Android platform in February.

Allis also continues his interest in social entrepreneurship, creating the Hive Global Leaders Program (GLP).  The conference is designed for leaders and entrepreneurs between the ages of 21-39 who want to make a significant and positive impact on the world in their lifetime.

The kick-off program will be held January 17-20, 2014 at the Change.org offices in San Francisco, where Allis will share his decade of experience and help create a network of leaders who want to create a sustainable and abundant world for all people.

Want to attend? The application deadline is December 9th. Check out a video of Connect and check out HIVE today
