The Triangle is back in the national spotlight. Forbes recently released two national list rankings, 50 Best Places for Business and Careers and The Next Big Boom Towns in the U.S.; Raleigh came in 1st and 2nd in each category respectively. Charlotte, Durham, and Asheville also landed spots in the top 35 of the Best Places for Business rankings. The criteria for each list varied, but the strength of the Triangle's entrepreneurial climate, local universities, and quality of life played a role in both.
