DEJA FEST: MUSIC FESTIVAL IN DOWNTOWN RALEIGH JULY 22, 23, 2011

deja Mi, New Social Networking Application to Host Music Festival


deja Mi, a local tech start-up focused on media sharing, is proud to present deja Fest, a free event July 22 & 23 in downtown Raleigh. deja Fest will be featuring: Surfer Blood, Active Child, Free Energy, Wye Oak, Hooray For Earth, AC Slater, Nick Catchdubs, Patty Hurst Shifter, Old Bricks, BJ Barham (of American Aquarium), Urban Sophisticates, and many more.  The party coincides with the launch of deja Mi’s mobile and web application for capturing, sharing, and reliving experiences via photos and video (www.dejami.com).

The party begins Friday, July 22 at Tir Na Nog, The Pour House, Slim’s, Kings Barcade, and Neptunes Parlour from 6 p.m. - 2 a.m. It culminates on East Cabarrus St. in front of the Lincoln Theatre Saturday, July 23 from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. (followed by the after party inside the Lincoln until 2 a.m.). Music and fun are FREE to the public throughout the weekend.
