Eric Linsley, Pappas Ventures, named chair; David Spitz, ChannelAdvisor, chair-elect
June 27, 2011 – Research Triangle Park, NC – CED, a private, nonprofit organization that promotes entrepreneurial efforts in North Carolina, has elected officers and members to its Board of Directors for terms beginning July 1, 2011.
Eric Linsley, managing partner for Pappas Ventures, is the new Chairman, with David Spitz, president and COO of ChannelAdvisor, serving as the Chairman-elect. Returning officers include: Greg Anglum, partner, Grant Thornton, as Treasurer; Kent Christison, administrative partner, K & L Gates, as Secretary, and Michael Elliott, managing partner, Noro-Moseley Partners, as Immediate Past Chair. All officers serve one-year terms.
Members of CED’s Board of Directors serve 2-year terms. Nominations to the Board of Directors were approved by the full Board of Directors at its annual meeting in May 2011.
