CED Member WaterplayUSA.com announced the official public launch of its online booking engine, which will
promote local tourism activity businesses nationwide.
The company, which has appeared at the CED Tech Venture Conference, runs the nation’s first booking engine and marketplace specifically dedicated to water-related recreational activities.
According to company co-founders (and brothers) Will and Walt Smith, the booking engine will help tourists secure water activities, including fishing charter boats, jetski and boat rentals, harbor cruises, surfing lessons, and more.
“We have assembled the top activity providers throughout the nation into one single website,” says Walt Smith. “Whether you want to learn how to surf, go kiteboarding, take an afternoon booze cruise or get out on the water to catch that big one, we’ve got you covered.”
According to a company statement, before WaterplayUSA.com, travel planners had to search through multiple websites, send emails, and call to request pricing and
availability information.
Will and Walt Smith say that WaterplayUSA now provides everyone the ability to plan, research, price check and ultimately
book their water sport or activities in one place prior to vacation.
“We are here to make your booking process fast and seamless so you can enjoy your vacation and get the most out of your time," said Will Smith, "without having to worry about what you are going to do when you arrive at your destination.”
This high-growth startup already offers hundreds of
activities in many travel destinations, and new providers are being added
daily. Acting as an online concierge, WaterplayUSA helps handle customer
service calls and emails, allowing the individual activity providers do what
they do best.
WaterplayUSA plans to expand their activity
offerings throughout the Southeastern US by the end of the year.

is also partnering with local hotels, vacation rental companies and visitors bureaus in order to better serve their customers at their destinations.
