chief executive officer who is primarily responsible for the recent performance
of a private or public company that is at least three years old.

An independent panel of judges will review the applications and select the finalists and award recipients. The Judging Panel will base their decision on numerous criteria including vision, leadership, innovation, achievement, perseverance and the story behind the nominee's success.

When is the award announced?
At a black tie gala on Thursday,
June 21, 2012 at the Westin Charlotte, we will honor the 2012 finalists and award
recipients, some of the most innovative and successful entrepreneurs in our
area. Carolinas award recipients will then become eligible for
national recognition and will be invited to attend the National Awards gala in
Palm Springs, California on November 14, 2012.
