Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Nominations Open

This past June, Ernst & Young recognized two CED Members, Neal Fowler of Liquidia Technologies, Inc. and Jesse Lipson, ShareFile (recently acquired by Citrix), as Entrepreneurs of the Year in the Carolinas. Ernst & Young is once again accepting nominations for the 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Who is eligible? 
A nominee can be the founder, president or chief executive officer who is primarily responsible for the recent performance of a private or public company that is at least three years old.

How does it work?
An independent panel of judges will review the applications and select the finalists and award recipients. The Judging Panel will base their decision on numerous criteria including vision, leadership, innovation, achievement, perseverance and the story behind the nominee's success. 

When is the award announced?
At a black tie gala on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Westin Charlotte, we will honor the 2012 finalists and award recipients, some of the most innovative and successful entrepreneurs in our area. Carolinas award recipients will then become eligible for national recognition and will be invited to attend the National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 14, 2012.
