DURHAM, NC, May 10th, 2011 - Lab Rats Studio (www.labratsstudio.com), an up and coming independent game studio, today announced a publishing deal with Chillingo, leading Independent Games Publisher and division of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) to bring its flagship title M.U.S.E. to the Apple App Store.
M.U.S.E. is a real-time 3D, 3rd person shooter set in multiple unique settings, from a grungy urban setting, to a desolate oil rig. M.U.S.E. contains psychological twists that appeal to both hard core and casual gamers alike. M.U.S.E. is an episodic game with a comic book style story, with the first episode scheduled for release just in time for summer on mobile platforms.
You will play as Sid Tripp in a modern day setting where he struggles with forces both internal and external and fights to set things right for himself. As an agent of M.U.S.E., you will use all of your resources to try to endure the alternate realities of The Brain as he uses all of his minions and abominable bosses to try and interrupt your journey. If you succeed then you have a single shot of redemption for all the agony The Brain has caused you.
