The Council for Entrepreneurial Development is joining a Triangle business community effort to launch Project Kokoro: NC's Heart is With Japan campaign.
The goal is simple ‹ identify one project ‹ whether rebuidling a hospital, school, community center or a clinic ‹ and raise the project money from Triangle businesses and individuals.
Project Kokoro donors will know exactly where the money is going, and large donors will be recognized within the project for their effort to make this a successful venture. Other partners include the Triangle Community Foundation, the N.C. Japan Center, Southern Bridge International. We expect more partners to join us in this worthy cause.
A kick-off meeting is held tonight, March 22, at 5 p.m. at the N.C. Japan Center in Raleigh. For directions, go to www.ncsu.edu/japan.
