Ernst & Young is now accepting nominations for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2011 Carolinas program. The 25th anniversary of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Program is a fitting time to celebrate the achievements of the best and brightest men and women in business. The E&Y vision, is a celebration of the most influential and innovative community of entrepreneurs, now spans more than 140 cities and 50 countries worldwide and the US Program has grown from one awards program to 26 regional programs. You can be a part of this exciting tradition. E&Y invites you to nominate your clients, colleagues or even yourself for this prestigious award.

Who is eligible?
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards recognize the men and women who put everything on the line in order to translate an idea into a viable, sustainable enterprise. A nominee can be the founder, president or chief executive officer who is primarily responsible for the recent performance of a private or public company that is at least three years old and is an active member of top management.

How does it work?
An independent panel of judges will review the applications and select the finalists and award recipients. The Judging Panel will base their decision on numerous criteria including vision, leadership, innovation, achievement, perseverance and the story behind the nominee's success.  At a black tie gala on Thursday, June 9 at the Westin Charlotte, we will honor the 2011 finalists and award recipients, some of the most innovative and successful entrepreneurs in our area, before more than 500 business men and women from throughout the Carolinas.  Carolinas award recipients will then become eligible for national recognition and will be invited to attend the National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 12, 2011.

Submit a nomination today.
Nominations can be submitted electronically at  www.ey.com/us/eoy. All applications must be completed by March 18. Self nominations are encouraged!
