Metabolon Offers Free Regional Workshop on Metabolomics

Next Tuesday, August 28, at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham, CED Member Metabolon will host a free workshop for the Research Triangle region entitled "Practical Applications of Metabolomics".

The half day workshop provides an overview of the current state of metabolomics and how the technology has been applied to solve a variety of problems including:

• Understanding disease mechanism and identifying biomarkers
• Elucidating mechanism-of-action of a drug/ingredient
• Unraveling off-target effects of a drug/ingredient
• Profiling biochemical changes for bioprocess/fermentation optimization
• Establish/support claims

The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012.  There is no cost to attend, breakfast and lunch will be provided.  You will receive free copies of Metabolon's latest papers.
