SEANC selects myDrugCosts as vendor for 55,000 members

The State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) today announced that they have selected myDrugCosts, a mobile software service which helps individuals save money on prescription drugs, to provide service to SEANC's 55,000 members.

"Rising health care costs are a significant issue for all of our members. myDrugCosts is an innovative solution that will provide our members with fast and accessible information about their prescription drug options," said SEANC Executive Director Dana Cope in a statement on Wednesday.

myDrugCosts can be accessed by smartphone or any internet browser. Individuals are presented with options for lowering their drug costs. myDrugCosts is easy to use before, during, or after a doctor's appointment.

"Prescription drug cost information tends to be confusing, inaccessible and time consuming to find," said myDrugCosts CEO Dr. Dan Pollard in a statement. "We have designed myDrugCosts to provide individuals with instant, mobile access to the information they need to make an informed decision about the right drug, the right pharmacy and the right purchase method."

Pollard and myDrugCosts are FastTrac® Alumni, and participate in the CED Venture Mentoring Service. myDrugCosts was also recently selected as a Demo Company for the CED Tech Venture Conference, held Sept. 11-12 in Raleigh.
