ClinStar, a geographically focused
CRO in Russia and Eastern Europe, would like to invite you to a “Lunch &
Learn” to be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 13th at the
North Carolina Biotechnology Center located at 15 TW Alexander Drive in RTP. ClinStar has recently expanded our US
presence and opened an office in Durham and would like to introduce ourselves
to our partners in the life science community.
We will explore:

Our
featured speaker for the event will be ClinStar CEO David Passov. Mr.
Passov, born in Estonia and educated in the US, entered the clinical research
industry in 1996. Holding various roles in Business Development and
Clinical Operations till he joined ClinStar as COO in 2005 and assumed the role
of CEO in 2008. Mr. Passov was recently recognized amongst the PhamaVOICE 100 most inspiring
people. He is also recently featured in a TV segment with Business Day TV and on NPR’s Marketplace. During
these interviews he helped educate listeners about the higher recruitment rates
pharmaceutical companies experience in Russia and how this benefits the
industry by shortening the drug development timeline, and ultimately, saving
money.
During
lunch Mr. Passov will address these topics as well as open the floor to a
Q&A session to address any additional questions you may have about
conducting trials in these regions.
