Deloitte Predicts the Top 10 Technology Trends for 2012

Deloitte yesterday announced the research findings from their 3rd annual "Tech Trends" report, which identifies and predicts the top ten emerging and disruptive technologies that are expected to play a crucial role in how businesses operate in the global world in the year to come. Deloitte has concluded their study and will prepare a formal report by mid-January.

"Tech Trends" distinguished these technologies in two categories: (Re)emerging Enablers, or five technologies that many CIOs have spent time and resources on in the past yet deserve another look this year, and Disruptive Deployments, or additional technologies that showcase new business models and transformative ways to operate. They are:

• Hyper-hybrid Cloud
