Elan Corp, a neuroscience-based biotechnology company headquartered in Dublin, has named Robert Ingram as the next chairman of its board. Robert is the former Vice Chairman of GlaxoSmithKline and a long-standing CED member. He is an expert in the pharmaceutical field, most recently acting as general partner for Hatteras Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in Durham, NC. He is an active board member for many local organizations and an active participant in the North Carolina community. CED recently hosted its CEO Recognition dinner in September at Robert's private Porsche collection garage.
